I am an artist and educator born and based in New Jersey. I have worked as an art teacher and a special education teacher, and have taught students of all ages and abilities. If you have found me here by way of seeking more information about art education for students with special needs, let’s talk! I have found incredible success with my students, and seeing not only how much they learned, but their joy and excitement throughout the process, makes me want to get whatever I've done out there to other art teachers. If you have found me by way of art appreciation, welcome! I am always creating and adding more to my portfolio. I am a primarily abstract artist with a preference for mixed media works using pastel, oil pastel, ink, and acrylic. I can’t help but gravitate towards the saturation of color and the immediate gratification those mediums offer. I enjoy doing more realistic portrayals in portrait work, and have done pieces on commission.
